Gentlemen, start your engines: RuPaul’s Drag Race is back, hennies! Hot on the heels of a disastrous All-Stars 3 finale, a new crop of girls is ready to take on the competition. What will season 10 have in store for us?

How do you top the season 9 premiere of RuPaul’s Drag Race, where one of the biggest pop stars in the world — Lady Gaga — appeared as a guest judge and mentor?

Book another huge pop star, of course.

Season 10 is starting off with a bang with guest judge Christina Aguilera. The Grammy winner will be joining Ru and resident judges Michelle Visage, Carson Kressle, and Ross Matthews to check out the latest class of drag queens ready for their closeups.

One contestant may look familiar, and no it’s not Shangela coming back again! Though after the All-Stars finale, maybe she should. Eureka O’Hara, forced to leave the competition because of an injury, will be back to fight for the crown.

Of course, judging by the entrance looks of some of the other queens, she has some stiff competition.

On episode 1, the queens will face some other familiar faces too. For their first challenge, they will have to stand out on the runway among a crowd of some of Drag Race‘s best and brightest. Katya, (newly crowned All-Stars queen) Trixie Mattel, Jinkx Monsoon, Jiggly Caliente, Adore Delano, Laganja Estranja, Yara Sofia, Kim Chi, Raven, Manila Luzon and more make their grand return to try and outshine the new girls.

For the main challenge, queens will have to model their own fashion creations from items they buy at a 99 cent store. It will be interesting to see how many of these queens know how to sew, who will be able to make a masterpiece out of hot glue, and who is just a hot mess.

After 10 seasons, you would think aspiring queens would learn a thing or two about sewing before applying to Drag Race, but there’s always at least one clueless queen!

And if things look a little different, don’t worry, you’re not crazy. For the first time since season 2, the work room got a makeover, mama! It might take some getting used to, but Ru is pulling out the big guns to celebrate the landmark season.

We can’t wait to see how this turns out!
