The X-Files season 11 episode 10 live stream: Watch online
It’s here: the last episode of The X-Files season 11. What will we learn about the alien virus conspiracy and Mulder and Scully’s son in “My Struggle IV”?
What’s up with William? Mulder and Scully’s long-lost son was introduced long ago, as a baby in season 8 on The X-Files. We first got to see him as a teenager in this season’s “Ghouli”. He was, well, a teenager — impulsive and seemingly ruled by his hormones and a wildly firing young brain. Oh, and also he has psychic powers that may be related to his (possibly) alien DNA. Not exactly the standard set of teen problems, then.
As you may recall, at the beginning of the season, the Cigarette Smoking Man claimed that William was his child. Previously, most viewers assumed that William was Mulder’s son, or at least that he was the product of alien genetic manipulation.
However, the CSM’s claims have not yet been proven. He’s not exactly the most reliable character, after all. The CSM’s career started with faking the moon landing and has only gone uphill (or downhill, as the case may be) from there. So, his confession inside FBI Assistant Director Skinner’s SUV could have been deployed more for its theatrical value than any relationship to the truth.
Here’s the synopsis for “My Struggle IV”, courtesy of TV Guide:
"In the Season 11 finale, Mulder and Scully rush to find an on-the-run William, while the Cigarette Smoking Man pushes forward with his ultimate plan."
Here is when and where you can watch “My Struggle IV”:
"Date: Wednesday, March 21Start time: 8 p.m. ETEpisode: “My Struggle IV”TV Channel: FOXLive Stream: Stream 1 | Stream 2"
Here’s hoping that this last episode of season 11 will have some answers. Fans have waited since 2001 to get more information about William. It’s probably safe to say that most really, really hope that the CSM hasn’t gotten his gross paws all over Scully’s family.
Plus, Gillian Anderson has confirmed that this is her last season with the show.
If The X-Files dares to continue on without her as Special Agent Dana Scully, then it should at least give her some proper closure here.
