Last week, we had time off from the Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story. But now it is back with a vengeance and more of Andrew Cunanan.
Still interested in The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story? Well then you better buckle in for a new episode tonight! Still following the crimes of Andrew Cunanan on his journey to killing famed designer Gianni Versace, then you’ll definitely not want to miss out.
As we know now, Andrew killed closeted men before finally fatally shooting Versace on the steps of his home in Miami. While we cannot trust most of what Cunanan said (since he was a pathological liar), a lot of the show is still considered speculative.
The show is really something that we, as an audience, were not expecting. From the promo shots, we believed that it would be more about Versace and his sister and lover. Instead, we’re getting a lot of Andrew and not too much of Penelope Cruz as Donatella.
Really though, it is very upsetting that Penelope Cruz is not in this nearly as much as we thought.
So does that mean we should stop watching it? No, it is very interesting. It just isn’t necessarily what we thought we were going to get. But then again, when is a Ryan Murphy something that we expect? If anything, if The Assassination of Gianni Versace was predictable, we’d probably still not be talking about it.
