Black Lightning season 1, episode 5 live stream: Watch online

Before taking a short break, Black Lightning airs episode 5 tonight and we’ve got all the details you need to watch Black Lightning online or on TV.

In the previous episode of Black Lightning, a new drug called Green Light hit the streets. Since this week’s episode is titled “And Then The Devil Brought Plague: The Book Of Green Light,” I assume this storyline will continue this week.

Especially since Black Lightning was unable to figure out who was manufacturing the drug the appeared to make all of its users violent.

Now, let’s check out the synopsis for the new episode of Black Lightning, courtesy of TV Guide:

"An unexpected phone call unearths the long-buried need for Jefferson to investigate the murder of his father. Meanwhile, Annisa wrestles with the fact that her actions have dire consequences; and Jennifer learns the importance of controlling her temper in all situations."

I’m psyched for all of this. We know that Tobias (and possibly Gambi) have a role in whatever happened to Black Lightning’s father. Plus, Grace got hurt last week, so I wonder whether Anissa will lean more into her powers (with the intent to protect her), and unintentionally create some sort of dangerous fallout. And more importantly, I need Jennifer to do more. Last week, I asked what Black Lightning was waiting to do with her, so hopefully, that’ll change soon.
