The 60th Grammy Awards live stream: Watch online
By Lacy Baugher
The Grammy Awards are the music industry’s most glamorous event. Here’s all the information you need to watch the ceremony online.
Get ready, America. Music’s most glitzy night is upon us. The 60th annual Grammy Awards will take place tonight, and The Recording Academy will crown the all the best in music from 2017. Categories run the gamut from Best Album and Song of the Year to Best New Artist and Best Dance Recording. If you’re a music fan, there will surely be something you enjoy here.
Plus, for once, the Grammy Awards ceremony sounds like something you might actually want to watch. It’s the show’s 60th anniversary, which means they’ll pretty much pull out all the stops to celebrate. Personally, we’re hoping for some surprise guests or impromptu musical performances. After all, Jay-Z is a nominee. That means odds are high that Beyonce is in the building somewhere.
Just saying, Recording Academy.
The list of confirmed performers and presenters is already super stacked. If you can name a musical artist who had a hit this year, they’re probably going to be there. These include Lady Gaga, Rhianna, Cardi B, Pink, Miley Cyrus, Kesha, Patti LuPone and Alessia Cara. And that’s just the women! The guys slated to appear include Kendrick Lamar, Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, Elton John, U2, Sam Smith, Bruno Mars, Childish Gambino, Dear Evan Hansen’s Ben Platt and more.
Whew.
James Corden of The Late Late Show will host again, for the second year in a row. He did a fairly decent job last time out, though it’s okay if you’re already anxious about the inevitable Carpool Karaoke sketch we’ll get. (Shudder.)
