In the trailer for “Chapter Twenty-Four: The Wrestler” there are some one-to-one showdowns that could provide fodder for lots of interpersonal drama. Or, it could just reveal some of the characters as vapid and two-dimensional.
We’re standing on the precipice here, folks, and Riverdale is teetering.
If you’ve been following along with the insufferable and inexplicable Hiram family business storyline, you may have noticed some growing tensions between Archie and Hiram. Things are about to get toxically masculine, as Hiram tries to out macho Archie with sports and clenched jaws. My money is NOT on Archie in this matchup.
In more interesting news, it looks like Chic is bringing back the season 1 creep that made us fall in love with this show in the first place. Betty’s dad, Hal, is suspicious of him generally, but I can tell by the twitch of Chic’s eyebrow that he’s here for the mischief. Hal’s bluster is a mere diversion away from something super unsettling.
Veronica is busy playing lady boss, and now she’s beefing with Josie. I’m not sure I care enough about this to give it full attention. I’d trade this for a shirtless scene with FP. All day.
Now’s the time to get on board with season 2 of Riverdale. It could be really good TV, or it could go down in flames. Either way, I’m here for it all. Here’s what you need to know to watch the eleventh episode of Riverdale.
