New alliances form on this week’s Supergirl episode, but will they last? Culturess has all the information you need to watch “Fort Rozz.”

Last week, Supergirl returned from hiatus with a promising episode. In “Legion of Superheroes,” Kara explored her psyche (literally) and rediscovered her human side. As a result, she not only recovered from the injuries sustained during her battle with Reign but also decided she was ready to move on from Mon-El. Hallelujah!

She has better things to do than pine anyway. Reign remains at large, and Kara needs all the help she can get to stop the Worldkiller.

Fortunately, it seems she will get plenty of it. Below, you can read the official plot synopsis for this week’s episode, titled “Fort Rozz”:

"SUPERGIRL TEAMS UP WITH SATURN GIRL, LIVEWIRE AND PSI – As Reign (Odette Annable) continues to terrorize the city, Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) teams up with Saturn Girl (guest star Amy Jackson), and the two recruit Supergirl’s former enemies, Livewire (guest star Brit Morgan) and Psi (guest star Yael Grobglas), to form a team for a mission to Fort Rozz to recover a prisoner who has information on how to defeat Reign once and for all. Meanwhile, Alex (Chyler Leigh) babysits Ruby (guest star Emma Tremblay)."

On one hand, Supergirl is getting awfully crowded. Yes, Livewire and Psi have appeared before in a “villain of the week” capacity. But the show struggles to give its main characters enough to do already; James and Winn in particular increasingly feel like glorified guest stars.

On the other hand, though, an all-female team of superheroes sounds delightful. If nothing else, we should finally see some meaningful interactions between Kara and Imra. Bonus points if they manage to never mention Mon-El.
