Outlander season 3 episode 13: Watch Eye of the Storm online
Claire and Jamie stumble upon the Jamaican Craigh na Dun and Geillis officially goes off the rails in Outlander’s season 3 finale.
“Strange how fate keeps bringing us together,” Geillis tells Claire in the promo for “Eye of the Storm,” Outlander‘s third season finale. It seems like an innocuous enough comment until she later adds, “We are the chosen, you and I.”
It looks like Geillis has finally left the building — only deranged Marvel villains say things like that. “Eye of the Storm” sees Claire’s former bestie going into full sociopath mode (complete with a Messiah complex). And Geillis wants to bring Claire in on her nefarious scheme.
That scheme will likely involve the place in Jamaica that’s “like Craigh na Dun,” which I bet is the same Jamaican cave previous episodes have hinted about. In “Uncharted” nutty Father Fogden told Claire, “[Abandawe] is hallowed … a place of great power. It is said that folk disappear there.” And don’t forget Margaret predicted Abandawe would “devour” Claire way back in “Creme De Menthe.”
The puzzle pieces are coming together, Sassenachs: Claire is about to go on another trip through time. Keep your fingers crossed that Jamie will go with her.
Here’s the official synopsis for “Eye of the Storm,” courtesy of TV Guide:
"Claire is forced to play a game of cat and mouse with an old adversary as she searches for Young Ian. The Frasers race through the jungles of Jamaica to prevent the unthinkable."
