Diana Dubois’ plan to obliterate the Lyons is in full swing, and this episode of Empire shows things getting even messier.

Diana is out for blood on Empire, and her takedown of the Lyon sons is going in ascending order — first Hakeem, then Jamal, which means the last man standing, Andre, is now in danger.

No one in the family suspects that Andre is involved in Lucious’ accident, but Thirsty has interacted with Pamela before, so I know he’ll have plenty to say about Andre’s involvement with the case’s lead liaison.

Shine is also noticeably absent from these previews but I honestly can’t see him responding well to Andre cozying up to the cops.

Lucious is still the more tranquil version of himself as he tries to help Cookie protect her eldest son from Diana’s conniving ways. Honestly, I wonder if and what will be the thing that will finally make Lucious snap completely and turn back to his old self. I can feel Cookie’s anxiety as she feels like she has to defend the Lyons alone with Lucious, for all intents and purposes, out of commission.

Maybe I missed it, but I want to know what Cookie will use those photos for. To show what a cruel boss Diana is? I mean, the women made her henchmen jump into busy traffic over a ring. Okay, it was an heirloom but still — how materialistic can you get?

At this point, the DuBois family has a leg up on the Lyons due to the knowledge they gained from their intimate and personal relationships with them. The Lyons will need to do something drastic to regain the upper hand.
