Arrowverse crossover Crisis on Earth-X Part 3 + 4: Watch online
By Amy Woolsey
How will our superhero friends stop the “Crisis on Earth-X”? Here’s how you can catch the second half of the 2017 Arrowverse crossover.
So, “Crisis on Earth-X” certainly got off to an epic start. In the first two episodes of this year’s Arrowverse crossover, which aired back-to-back Monday night, Nazis from an alternate universe invaded Central City. Also, there was a (botched) wedding, doppelgangers, and a light-spewing robot.
What could possibly happen next?
When we last saw our heroes, they were stuck on Earth-X in what looked like a concentration camp. Honestly, compared to some of the other challenges they have faced, escaping from prison seems like a piece of cake. (Too bad Mick isn’t with them.) Escaping from Earth-X, though, is another matter. Hopefully, Cisco regains consciousness soon, now that the plot doesn’t require his Vibe abilities to be rendered useless.
Meanwhile, the official plot description for “Crisis on Earth-X” promised that Captain Cold will return. It makes sense for him to appear in Part 3, since the character was originally introduced in The Flash. But will it be our Captain Cold or his Earth-X doppelganger? Either way, we can’t wait to see him interact with characters from Supergirl and Arrow. And, of course, there needs to be a reunion with Mick.
In addition, The Ray has yet to appear. How will he come into play? As it is, there’s a lot going on, both in terms of plot and characters. At least at this point, we’ve gotten past all the necessary exposition; expect the back half to be more focused and action-oriented.
