Marvel’s Inhumans season 1 finale live stream: Watch online
Marvel’s Inhumans will put things to rest on tonight’s episode, “…And Finally: Black Bolt,” but is it a season or series finale, and how can you watch?
Whether or not Marvel’s Inhumans will last beyond its first televised efforts is still kind of a mystery, which is kind of impressive considering that fans have speculated that it’s not going to survive since before it started airing back in September. Yet here we are, part of the way through November, and ABC has remained mum on the series despite basically ruling that Ten Days in the Valley will not see a second season already in this short television season.
If there’s going to be news about this series, though, it seems like the time after tonight’s finale might be appropriate. It’s that or wait until next year, when TV executives decide on pilots and what to cancel to make room for all those newer shows.
The synopsis from ABC isn’t particularly helpful, either:
"It’s brother versus brother as the final showdown between Black Bolt and Maximus takes an unexpected turn – one with lasting consequences for all of Inhumanity."
On the one hand, “lasting consequences for all of Inhumanity” makes it sound as though something will be left open for a possible second go-round with the Royal Family of Attilan. On the other, “final showdown” is pretty final. If Black Bolt gets rid of Maximus, who is the next villain? How does the show continue? Will we have to go through everyone escaping back to Earth yet again in another season?
Even the episode name could go either way. In one sense, this is the last Inhuman to get an episode basically named after him. In another, it’s also saying “finally, the end of this series or story.”
See what we mean? Marvel and ABC have us very confused right now. That’s probably the point, come to think of it. Regardless, here’s what you need to do to catch Marvel’s Inhumans tonight.
