Once Upon a Time season 7 episode 5 live stream: watch online
This Friday on Once Upon a Time, Tiana attempts to save her kingdom, and Ivy plots to take down Victoria. Here’s what you need to know about “Greenbacks,” the fifth episode of the seventh season.
It looks like Tiana (Mekia Cox) will be getting the origin story treatment this Friday on Once Upon a Time! Entertainment Weekly has shared an exclusive first look at the hour, and in particular, a flashback that takes our favorite frog princess back to her days of attempting to save her kingdom.
Alongside Tiana’s mother, Eudora (Robin Givens), Daniel Francis will be appearing in the episode as Dr. Facilier, whom Tiana goes to for help. But he has an ulterior motive, as do all villains. In the 2009 animated film The Princess and the Frog, Dr. Facilier performed Voodoo on the citizens of New Orleans in order to take over the city and its wealth. I expect a similar play is staged in this episode, with Dr. Facilier wanting to take over her kingdom — somewhere in the Enchanted Forest, I presume. (Or whatever realm they’re in. Have they established that yet?)
I’m just upset that Prince Naveen isn’t in the season 7 plan yet.
Meanwhile, in Hyperion Heights, Sabine (Cox) and Jacinda (Dania Ramirez) appears to be venturing into the Hyperion Heights food scene together. Is this the beginnings of Tiana’s Place? Can I pre-reserve a table via OpenTable? It might be too early for that, though, for they might need to prove their cooking skills first!
Ivy (Adelaide Kane) and Henry (Andrew J. West), on the other hand, will be working together to take down Victoria (Gabrielle Anwar). Now can I go back to rooting for Ivy? I just want to trust her, but I also love her being evil. She’s got me torn! This will be an interesting pairing, though; we’ve gotten a taste of them together last week — let’s see if anything happens between them this week! (Love triangle. I’m calling it now.)
Finally, as seen in the promo uploaded by SpoilerTV, Roni (Lana Parrilla) finds a photo of her and younger Henry (!). Are they finally starting to wake up? What will happen once they do? I cannot wait to see what happens there!

"Tiana seeks help from a traveling soothsayer, the iconic Dr. Facilier, in an attempt to save her kingdom. But when it’s revealed that he has an ulterior motive she’s forced to take matters into her own hands. In Hyperion Heights, Sabine and Jacinda take on a risky business venture, but the strength of their friendship is tested when Victoria interferes with their plans. Meanwhile, Ivy recruits Henry to investigate Victoria, and Roni makes a discovery that could change her relationship with Henry forever. Rogers uncovers a crucial clue in his search for Eloise Gardener."
