The Walking Dead returns this Sunday with episode 2 of season 8 and we’re hoping a war finally breaks out between two sides.

Catch up on the season premiere with our recap right here before you read any further. The Alexandrians, Kingdommers and Hilltoppers all joined sides to go up against Negan. The episode was peppered with a flash forward where Rick is back home in Alexandria with his family and everyone is safe. Although he aged a little worse than Michonne, it was a happy preview of what could happen if they take down their enemy, and proved to be something to look forward to. However, the rest of the episode lacked the drama that I’ve craved all hiatus, and I’m hoping this next episode changes that.

The official synopsis from the AMC website reads:

"The plan involving Alexandrians, Kingdommers and Hilltoppers unfolds. As Rick continues to fight, he encounters a familiar face."

They didn’t kill Negan in the first episode even though they had their chance, so I assume that they want to mess with his head a little bit first. This will include multiple characters doing multiple different things. In this promo scene, Morgan and Jesus seem to be attempting to take out one of his out posts:

But who is the familiar face that Rick will run into? We’ll have to wait until the episode airs to find out. Here’s how to stream “The Damned” online if you don’t have access to a TV this Sunday:
