Poldark season 3 episode 4 live stream: Watch online

Poldark’s photos this week have a massive spoiler, but there’s also a synopsis and some live stream information to get to as well.

Poldark is back this week with episode 4, and things appear to improve for some and get worse for others. Of course, that’s what usually happens, but this time, we can more accurately predict everyone’s fortunes with a look at both the synopsis and some of the photos … and without Aunt Agatha’s cards.

Hopefully we’ll get some answers to the questions we have.

First, though, we may as well get right to the photo that’s a big spoiler:

Ross is back in France, ladies and gentlemen, and this time he’s actually embracing the action, without any hats to serve as a disguise, either. (Maybe it’s been lost in the chaos.) As an aside, Dwight is not looking good, even before you take his being supported by Ross and Henshawe into account.

PBS’ pressroom has published a slightly less obvious synopsis:

"With Dwight languishing in a French prison, Ross takes a desperate gamble. Drake joins Ross’ mission after Morwenna breaks with him. George jockeys for a triumph in politics."

Bad news for Morwenna and Drake, and what exactly is “Ross’ mission”? He’s not in the fateful photo above, so presumably this is another “mission” instead of the trip to France. It doesn’t look like things are so dangerous in said photo, but “desperate gamble” makes it seem like this still is carefully crafted to give away some and not all of what’s going to happen.

You win this one, PBS and Poldark. We’ll watch this episode.

(Was it ever really in doubt? All of those plot points have us very intrigued, and we’re invested in what different character turns will show up this week that we might have to suss out after the fact.)
