Outlander season 3, episode 6: Watch online

After fainting at the end of the last installment, Jamie apparently comes to in “A. Malcolm” and spends the rest of the episode catching up with Claire… amongst other things.

If “Freedom & Whisky” (briefly) reunited Claire and Jamie, then the next episode of Outlander, “A. Malcolm,” will serve as a bookend of sorts to season 1’s “The Wedding.” Possibly the hottest hour of television ever (well, the hottest hour to date –“A. Malcolm” might best it), “The Wedding” marked the beginning of Claire and Jamie’s physical relationship. Needless to say, there was a lot of fan swooning.

Based on its promo, “A. Malcolm” will echo the lighting, female gaze, and pure romantic fun of “The Wedding.” Speaking for myself, it’s possible that this week’s installment will be even better because 1) viewers know Claire and Jamie as a couple now, 2) we’ve been looking forward to this since the season 2 finale, 3) Claire and Jamie have been longing for each other for two decades, and 4) this isn’t their first rodeo — these two really know each other.

Outlander knows how to deliver the romance so — no pressure on the writers or anything — “A. Malcolm” could be the episode the entire show is remembered for.

Here’s the description, courtesy of TV Guide, which also hints at “A. Malcolm’s” requisite non-sexy subplot:

"After decades apart, Jamie and Claire finally reunite and rekindle their emotional and physical bonds. But Jamie’s new business dealings jeopardize the couple’s hopes for a simple life together."
