RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 3 live stream: Watch the cast announcement show online
RuPaul’s Drag Race is back for another round of All Stars sooner rather than later, and tonight brings a special to introduce the drag queens coming back.
RuPaul’s Drag Race has been gone for what feels like forever. However, after a season where we met new drag queens, the show is heading back into its deep pool to bring some more old favorites back. It’s time for RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 3 … but tonight’s episode isn’t actually the season premiere. It’s instead all about the casting.
VH1 published a two-minute snippet of the episode, and it looks like even with those Emmy wins (and yes, RuPaul mentions them), the show hasn’t lost all of its sense of humor. Look no further than those dramatic camera angles. Ultimately, the clip cuts out before we actually get to the information we all want to know.
Who will make their return? How many queens will come from season 9, or is it too soon to see them again? Additionally, do the snippets of season 1 mean that the show will embrace all of its history? With RuPaul mentioning that the show has run for “the past decade,” it almost seems as if things could span from those early days all the way to where the show has come now.
Either way, it seems like the idea here was to be cognizant of the demands of a growing fanbase — but also to make good television.
And, again, RuPaul’s been on this show for a decade. Knowing how to make good television is kind of part of the job, especially if the production wants to go for more of those precious Emmys. RPDR‘s already moved up to VH1, after all. Awards are the next stepping stone.

But here’s the biggest question of all: Will there be a premiere date, too?
