Once Upon a Time season 7 episode 3 live stream: Watch online

In the third episode of the seventh season of Once Upon a Time, Cinderella joins forces with Tiana to take down Lady Tremaine. Here’s what you need to know about “A Garden of Forking Paths.”

On last Friday’s episode of Once Upon a Time (“A Pirate’s Life”), we finally saw how Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) was able to stay on the show while his new-ish wife Emma (Jennifer Morrison) exited the series. As it turns out, the Hook we’ve been following for these first two episodes of season seven is actually Wish!Hook (you know, the one with the rum belly), who had thrust himself into the forefront of the story, ultimately getting himself caught in the new curse alongside Regina (Lana Parilla), Henry (Andrew J. West), and Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle).

In the third episode of season seven, entitled “A Garden of Forking Paths,” we get to see Tiana (Mekia Cox) in action in the Enchanted Forest, while in the midst of Cinderella (Dania Ramirez) attempting to reclaim her stolen kingdom from her evil stepmother Lady Tremaine (Gabrielle Anwar).

Below is the synopsis for the upcoming episode, via SpoilerTV:

"When Cinderella finds herself staring danger in the eye, she receives help from an unlikely source. Her rescue leads to an alliance that could aid in the defeat of Lady Tremaine’s rule and reveals a dark secret from Cinderella’s past. In Hyperion Heights, Jacinda goes to extreme measures to stop Victoria Belfrey from destroying Lucy’s beloved community garden, while Lucy tries to convince Henry that Victoria is after more than just a plot of land. Meanwhile, Victoria makes a discovery that could alter everyone’s fate."

One fun tidbit I noticed from the synopsis above: if you recall in the pilot episode, the Storybrooke clock tower was a significant component to the first storybook — once frozen, it began to work when Emma decided to stay in Storybrooke. In this new storybook, it appears that Lucy’s (Alison Fernandez) garden may be the equivalent, as a Hyacinth flower (a.k.a. Cinderella’s lucky flower) is seen growing after Cinderella made a wish in a wishing well. Mind. Blown.
