Riverdale’s second season has us all on the edge of our seats. Here’s everything you need to know about the Riverdale live stream and how to watch online.
That’s right, Riverheads, there’s a new murderer on the loose, and we’re all on the hook for another season-long whodunnit. Here’s everything you need to know about the Riverdale season 2 episode 2 live stream and how to watch it online.
The season 2 premiere set audiences up for a serial killer plot arc, and thank goodness it was Ms. Grundy that got it, instead of Fred Andrews. As the trailer for “Nighthawks” reveals, Fred is home, resting and convalescing, while the gang hustles to figure out the identity of the hooded gunman. All we know is that he has piercing green eyes, and may or may not be Betty’s dad. Of course that’s just hearsay, but it’s just as likely to be true as it isn’t.
The most promising thing about this second ep is Betty’s calculated perkiness and threateningly icy demeanor. I like this side of Betty. Riverdale has been hinting at her gritty side from episode 1. Bring on Dark Betty. This version of the pony-tailed blonde could be perfect for Southside Serpent Jughead, and fans wouldn’t have to suffer through this whole “opposite sides of the tracks” trope.
Betty and Cheryl have been on again/off again frenemies since the beginning of season 1, and it looks like both of them have a little more bite to their bark now. Cheryl is in line to be the stand-out fave of this season. She absolutely slays any scene she’s in. I can’t even begin to unpack the creepy, thinly-veiled sadomasochistic stuff she has going on with her mom, but I’m here for it all.
What I’m not here for, however, is a return to the dopey days of a dumb-faced Archie. We can’t go back, and if the writers try to revert this character back to his vanilla ways, I will revolt. And by revolt, I mean just write mean things about it on Twitter.
