Is there a new Outlander on tonight, Oct. 15?

Wow, Starz is really committed to the whole delayed gratification thing for Outlander: we’ll have to wait another week for “A. Malcolm.”

You know how the next episode of Outlander will be longer than normal, Sassenachs? Well, we have to wait an extra long time to watch it (see what I did there?). “A. Malcolm” aka The Episode Where Claire and Jamie Officially Get Back Together isn’t on this week. Cue the plaintive Gaelic music.

It’s fine. Really, it’s fine. Claire and Jamie were separated 20 years, so another seven days will feel like nothing. I hope.

While tonight’s lack of a new episode is a bummer, I’m choosing the route of cautious optimism. If they’re making us wait five episodes and a week for it, “A. Malcolm” must be amazing, right? All signs and this Entertainment Weekly piece point to yes.

Since we do have some extra time this week, we should make the most of it. We can rewatch our favorite episodes (including “The Wedding,” obviously). We can continue to theorize about season 3’s endgame. We can fantasize about a version of Outlander that doesn’t include Brianna but doubles Fergus’ screen time. And we can enjoy the myriad videos of Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan being adorable — this one is especially fun:
