Finally, the time has come. Star Trek: Discovery is hitting our television screens tonight and we’re excited to meet the crew!

At long last, Star Trek: Discovery is here. With all the struggles and delays, it seemed like this show was going to get pushed further and further away until we didn’t get it at all. But now, the time has come. So where can you watch it?

Well, it isn’t exactly easy. This new show is exclusively part of the CBS All Access streaming service. Meaning to have to subscribe to their monthly service in order to watch Star Trek. But really, is that a bad thing?

For me personally, I’m just excited for a new Trek series in our lives. It’s been quite a while since we’ve had a new one. The last series was Enterprise and ended back in 2005. So while we’ve had the film series to help tide us over with all our Star Trek related needs, it still hasn’t been a show to fill us week after week.

Now, that void is filled. And with an amazing group of diverse actors! There has been some rumors that certain Trek rules are being broken (mainly the Roddenberry rule) and while that is frightening, especially for hardcore fans, it does seem like this show might be the thing we’ve been waiting for.

After all, we already love Michael and she hasn’t even been introduced to us yet! A sister to Spock? What’s not to love! And lucky for us, we have an entire season to get to know her!
