American Horror Story: Cult season premiere live stream: Watch online

American Horror Story: Cult is here earlier than other American Horror Story seasons of the past, so here’s how to tune in.

This isn’t the first time a season of American Horror Story has premiered in September — last year’s Roanoke did as well — but it’s certainly the earliest, and the seventh season, Cult, not only has a new premiere window, it’s also on a new night. Yes, it’s time for terrifying Tuesdays, as the show appears to have made a permanent move, according to sites like TVGuide, which lists the first three episodes all airing on successive Tuesdays, starting tonight.

We’ll definitely miss the show’s corner on the Wednesday night block, though.

Unfortunately, outside of those episode titles, it doesn’t seem as though we know much about what’s coming in the show — sorry, but we don’t put much stock in all of the teasers, although TVGuide has also compiled all of them if you really need a pre-show scare or two to get you in the zone.

Even FX’s own schedule doesn’t provide much in the way of information as to what’s coming in tonight’s episode, “Election Night,” simply providing this as the synopsis:

"The FX limited series, “American Horror Story,” returns for a seventh installment."

That comes alongside a poster of what appears to be a woman in clown-like makeup with honeycombs where her brain would be, thereby combining bees and clowns as the opening credits do, and at this point we’re shivering already.

Thanks, FX. That’s just what we needed the Tuesday after Labor Day.

Then again, putting AHS on a Tuesday after a holiday almost makes a weird amount of sense. What better way to power through the rest of the week than by scaring yourself with Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, and the rest of the cast?
