Wynonna Earp season 2, episode 11: Watch online

Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to impart some very unfortunate news to you: This is the second to last episode of Wynonna Earp in season 2. While that may lead you to immediately go “AWW!” and get upset, I was fairly unhappy with the last episode of Wynonna Earp.

On top of making Waverly a cheater, they also revealed that Nicole has a secret wife. The writers obviously meant for it to be romantic (I don’t even know how?), but it really reflected poorly on the LGBT community and show as a whole. It was just terrible writing and a terrible idea all around. But! That wasn’t even the worst part. To save her girlfriend, Waverly did the dumbest thing possible and stole Doc’s ring. Essentially betraying Wynonna, who did as promised and found a way to cure Nicole, the consequences of Waverly’s actions resulted in some weird curse that transported Wynonna somewhere else.

LIKE SERIOUSLY?!?

That’s not a compelling way to explore the dynamic between Waverly and Wynonna. Unfortunately, all of last week’s episode put a sour taste in my mouth reminiscent of another show I watch that constantly lets me down: Supergirl. And I can’t sit here and watch two bad shows all the time, so at least they air during different parts of the year.
