Okay, so we’ve got some good news and bad news on the Wynonna Earp front. I’ll start with the bad news first — there are only a few episodes left. The good news? Wynonna Earp was officially renewed for season 3 at San Diego Comic Con. The other good news is that it’s been a consistently action-packed season so far.

In the previous episode, Wynonna basically had a vision and a time-traveled back to the time when the curse was first laid on Purgatory. We saw Doc’s early days in the well, met a young Constance Clootie, and even saw Bobo before he was Bobo. Of course, they dutifully gave “Robert” some extra empathy points, most likely because of how his storyline will intertwine with Waverly’s in the future now that he’s back. That was definitely a huge twist! It only took a few seconds before the curse reset itself, meaning all the work that Wynonna did in season 1 and the last eight episodes pretty much resulted in nothing. I mean, that’s why they call it a curse, isn’t it?

Moving forward, there’s still a lot to learn about Waverly “Maybe Not An” Earp. Only she and Nicole officially know the results of her DNA test, so if she’s not an Earp, it’ll be more exciting to see what or who she really is. Maybe that will also set the stage for Wynonna’s baby and act as a well-written parallel of sorts? That would be pretty cool. Though not as cool as pregnant Wynonna doing a backflip.
