Game of Thrones season 7 episode 2 drops on HBO and HBO Go on Sunday night. But what time is the show and how can you watch it?
Everybody plans their weekends around Game of Thrones, right? The second episode of the first season premieres Sunday night and there’s a lot to consider in the meantime. What happened last episode? What’s going to happen this time around? What does the trailer mean? Who’s going to die? With so many questions to ponder, why not attack an easy one: when’s the show available and how do I actually watch it?
Last week, some viewers ran into issues with HBO Go crashing during the episode (and with 10.1 million viewers, it’s no wonder), that we’re hoping are addressed before “Stormborn” airs. In order to watch, viewers with HBO Go need to tune in at 10 p.m. ET (6 p.m. Pacific). Of course, that’s not the only way to watch. Two weeks ago, Hulu announced that subscribers can access HBO content, including movies, documentaries, and obviously, Game of Thrones, for an additional $14.99 a month. It’s an exciting option, especially for the growing number of cord-cutters who previously had a hard time watching Thrones and other HBO hits. Hulu watchers should be able to access the show at the same time that it’s available on HBO. They just need to add the HBO subscription service to their account and tune in. If Sunday night’s episode is anything like last week’s, pretty much everybody will be watching. As Entertainment Weekly reported, across all platforms, the season 7 premiere brought in16.1 million viewers, crushing the previously most-watched episode’s record.
How many will be watching this time around? We’ll have to wait and see. Tune into Game of Thrones season 7, episode 2 at 9 p.m. ET.
