In this week’s episode of Food Network Star, the finalists must leave the comfy confines of the kitchen for the wilderness.

Episode 4 of Food Network Star focuses on glamping. Glamping takes traditional camping to a whole new level. Instead of hot dogs and smores, campers want elevated cuisine. The finalists must find a way to change simple to fabulous.

The Food Network synopsis of episode 4 says:

"The remaining finalists are divided into teams and sent into the wilderness. When they arrive at a campsite, they must use whatever camping food is in the back of their cars to create a “glamping” meal. Each team will present their dishes to Giada De Laurentiis, along with guests Melissa d’Arabian and Andrew Zimmern, who will decide which finalist successfully elevated camping food to glamping dishes and gave the best tips for working with wilderness fare."

A few finalists have a definite advantage in this glamping challenge. First, Addie should be a frontrunner. Her Martha Stewart background is perfect for this episode. Has anyone ever seen an un-elevated Martha inspired dish or presentation? The key will be to make the dish and presentation a little more approachable.

Of course, my personal favorite, Jason, should be on top too. His country bling should be at home in the glamping world. Hopefully, he makes some over the top dessert item. Let’s hope there’s plenty of bourbon in those knapsacks.

Lastly, I think Rusty is due for a good showing. The Cajun chef should be able to whip up some spicy dishes to keep warm on a cold camping night. Plus, Rusty looks like he would be at home on a campsite.
