Can your locale influence your food choices? In Food Network Star episode 3 all-terrain eats, the finalist must create a dish inspired by a specific locale.

Chefs, and Food Network personalities, must be creative. No one tunes into a cooking show to watch someone pour a bowl of cereal. Inspired creativity is a must. Viewers want to be impressed with a dish or meal. In episode 3, all-terrain eats, of Food Network Star, the finalists must showcase their expert creativity.

The Food Network provides the following synopsis for episode 3:

"The ten remaining finalists divide into two teams, with each team creating a five-course menu for an experiential restaurant. Diners will experience a completely different environment for each course, such as an appetizer in the jungle and a main course in the desert. Each finalist must also make a video menu describing their dish for the diners, who will select which one they want to taste. Special guest Tyler Florence dines with Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay and helps decide which finalist is sent home."

The key to this synopsis is the experimental aspect. If this adjective is generalized, like a jungle themed dish, this challenge could be exciting for everyone. If this description means molecular gastronomy, success and failure will be very clear. I don’t think anyone wants non-professional chefs to play with liquid nitrogen – lord honey we have a problem.

Hopefully, the finalists just have to use their creative juices to develop a dish on the theme. Finalists who combine their culinary point of view with the locale should do well. But, those videos could be the deciding factor in the elimination. Not every amazing chef is a television personality.
