Tonight on American Gods, everyone’s meeting up in Kentucky for Easter’s own Easter party in the season 1 finale, “Come to Jesus.”
American Gods episode 7 left our four main characters converging in Kentucky. Wednesday needs to talk to one more old friend before they head for Wisconsin, and Shadow, as usual, is along for the ride. Mad Sweeney is taking Laura to Kentucky to get her properly resurrected. For all his cursing and rude behavior, Sweeney knows he owes her one.
Now, for the eighth and final episode of American Gods season 1, it’s time to get out your fancy spring finery. Everyone who’s anyone is going to Easter’s Easter party. Media will be there. So will Jesus, and also Jesus. Oh, and Jesus.
And as the clip below shows, Bilquis is back. Yaaaaaaassssss, queen! But what’s this? She’s working with Technical Boy? He wants to know why she’s been avoiding him. Apparently, she owes him, and Technical Boy is calling in the favor. But Bilquis wants to wriggle out. Good luck to her there.
How will season 1 wrap up? Will Laura finally get resurrected so Sweeney can get his coin back? Will Shadow stop walking around looking like a deer in the headlights and get his head around believing? Is Wednesday going to alienate another old friend, or can he convince Easter to join his crusade?
