Rafael may have been surprised by fatherhood, not once, but twice, but that didn’t stop him from finding time to go to the gym and shopping for really tight oxford shirts. I don’t think I have ever seen a man in more top form than Justin Baldoni. It has to be the perfect storm of genes, diet and exercise, and divine intervention. For real, they only make bodies like that in heaven.

Rafael isn’t just a pretty face, though. He’s actually a pretty successful real estate mogul and hotelier, and is worth a zillion dollars. He runs one of Miami’s most successful hotels, albeit with his pretty, neurotic, pushy ex-wife. He handles her pretty well, which is positive sign of his maturity and willingness to accept crazy without much explanation.

But not only that, he’s also a pretty good friend to Jane. How Jane has the will power not to touch his chest every time she sees him, I’ll never know. But he’s always there to lend a (very strong and defined) shoulder to her when she needs it. There’s not a whole wrong with Rafael, save his penchant for linen, and he’d make a really good (and handsome) boyfriend. That is, if you don’t mind a ton of drama of the telenovela sort.
