Doctor Who season 10 continues this Saturday, with a brand new episode. Here’s all the info you need to watch “The Pyramid at the End of the World” online.

Doctor Who continues this week, with the second episode in a three-part story involving the uber-creepy new villains the Monks. In addition to needing, a whole lot of help in the moisturizing department, the monsters also apparently want to conquer Earth. Why? We’re not sure yet. But they’re really into this plan. Like, exceptionally dedicated. They built a digital simulation that incorporated all of the knowledge in human history to figure out how to do it. So whatever the reason, it has to be a pretty big one. Or at least you’d think.
The official synopsis for this episode is as follows:
"A 5,000 year-old Pyramid stands at the centre of a war zone, where the Chinese, Russian and American armies are about to clash. There are many problems with that, but the one that intrigues the Doctor is this: there wasn’t a pyramid there yesterday.The Doctor, Bill and Nardole face an alien invasion unlike any other, and before conquest can begin, these aliens need the consent of the human race…"
Interestingly enough, both this episode description and the one at the BBC website stress the fact that the Monks don’t really want to conquer the Earth. They want humanity to surrender. Was that what their whole simulated Earth thing was about last week? Was it an attempt to figure out what the human race’s pressure points are? If that’s the case, on some level, it makes “Extremis” make a bit more sense. Not a lot. But some.
