This week marks the season four finale for Agents of SHIELD. With the announcement last week that it was renewed for a fifth season, we should all rejoice as well.

But part of me feels like the showrunners knew they wouldn’t get canceled quite yet. So this will be less of a “series finale” and more of a “standard season finale that has a horrible cliffhanger like every other season of Agents of SHIELD.” Am I right or am I right?

A lot remains at stake in this week’s episode. Actually, the fate of the world is at stake, but probably not as much as you would think. Because if the emergency was that high, the Avengers would get called in to help. Does that mean we might get an Avenger cameo?! (Probably not.)

It’s just really nice to have Robbie Reyes back in the SHIELD fold. Here’s hoping the season finale doesn’t take him away from us and he shows up in season five.
