Is there a new Saturday Night Live on tonight, May 13?
Saturday Night Live returned last week with a pretty amazing episode and we want to know: is there a new SNL on tonight and if so, who’s hosting?
This week’s Saturday Night Live is going to be a pretty special one. No, I won’t be in studio again this week but it will be special for a completely different reason. Melissa McCarthy, our resident Sean Spicer, will be hosting this week and it is her introduction into the Five Timers Club.
For those of you who don’t know, the Five Timers Club is only for the elite. Basically, you join the club when you host five times. Really hard to figure out, right? Well some of the greats include Steve Martin, Alec Baldwin, Martin Short, Tom Hanks and now, Melissa. But the great thing about this episode is that we already know we’re going to get some Melissa as Sean Spicer.
Want to know how we know that? Because she was spotted filming herself riding down midtown Manhattan on a motorized podium earlier on Friday. And really, if that doesn’t get you excited about this episode, we don’t know what will. She was literally riding around the city on a motorized podium. There’s nothing cooler than that!
But she’s also join with musical guess HAIM and it is going to be an amazing show all around. After all, you don’t just get to join the Five Timers Club because you’re just kind of funny.
