Doctor Who spinoff Class airs its fourth episode this week, called “Co-Owner Of A Lonely Heart”. Here’s all the information you need to watch the show online.
Doctor Who spinoff Class continues this week with its fourth episode. The series follows the stories of several students at the infamous (and very Who-connected) Coal Hill Academy. And though there are several main characters here, thus far the series has really leaned into giving each episode over to one of the core group in particular. This week appears no different.
Class’ fourth installment, entitled “Co-Owner of a Lonely Heart” will focus primarily on April, particularly the fact that she shares a heart with one of the Shadow Kin. Or at least, that’s what the official episode synopsis says.
"April starts to feel greater effects of sharing her heart with Corakinus, and as the connection strengthens, she vows to reclaim her heart as her own. Meanwhile, something sinister is invading the streets"
As per usual, the synopsis over at Doctor Who TV goes into a bit more detail about what to expect from this episode. Which is apparently a visit from April’s deadbeat father, in addition to all the alien stuff going on.
"April starts to feel effects of sharing her heart with Corakinus, and his attempts to sever the attachment only make it stronger.When April’s estranged father makes a startling appearance, she confronts him with Shadow Kin force, manifesting traits of the Shadow Kin leader.Frightened by this extraordinary new-found power, April seeks comfort in Ram, and vows to reclaim her heart as her own.Meanwhile, something strange is happening to the others – London is slowly being infested with unusual, sinister flower petals."
So, is it safe to guess that this whole heart connection thing goes both ways? After all, this is primarily a kids’ show. I can’t imagine they’re going to pass up the opportunity to make jokes about aliens affected by angsty teen emotions or something like that.
