The Leftovers Season 3, Episode 3 Live Stream: Watch Crazy Whitefella Thinking Online

What has Kevin Garvey Sr. been up to the past three years? Find out on The Leftovers tonight, which you can watch using our live stream guide.
For episode 3 of its final season, The Leftovers heads Down Under – no, not to Hell (though that wouldn’t be out of the question for a show that has already ventured into purgatory twice), but to Australia.
In The Leftovers, though, Australia is a kind of hell. As co-creator Damon Lindelof explained to Entertainment Weekly, the continent represents “the end of the world geographically”, with its remote location and desolate, untamed landscapes. It’s the ideal setting for soul-searching – and, perhaps, a reckoning.
The synopsis for “Crazy Whitefella Thinking” promises a wild ride:
"With the clock ticking towards the anniversary of the Departure and emboldened by a vision that is either divine prophecy or utter insanity, Kevin Garvey, Sr. (Scott Glenn) wanders the Australian Outback in an effort to save the world from apocalypse."
We initially met Kevin Garvey Sr. as an inmate at the Mapleton psychiatric hospital. The former police chief was committed after the Sudden Departure when he began hearing voices. But is he really just delusional? Or could these voices be prophetic? If there’s one thing The Leftovers has made clear, it’s that the line between sanity and madness isn’t as well-defined as we often like to believe.
Senior spent most of season 2 absent. Released from the hospital, he decided to build a new life by visiting Australia “for an indefinite period of time.” That’s not to say he is “cured”, however. On the contrary, he simply started listening to the voices instead of fighting them.
What might they be telling him?
Answers should be forthcoming. Regardless of whether he’s right about the apocalypse, Senior seems to be onto something. He did manage to contact his son in purgatory, or whatever plane of existence Kevin was inhabiting in “International Assassin”.
