Game of Thrones Season 7: Analyzing Some Fresh Photos
Game of Thrones season 7 might not arrive until July, but that doesn’t mean we can’t analyze the latest photos released today by HBO.
Here’s how you know that the return of Game of Thrones will be here before you know it. HBO just dropped a large number of new photos from season 7. Without further ado, let’s break them down, photo by photo.

Even though Daenerys Targaryen is the focus of this photo, one might find her surroundings more interesting. It looks as though she has a throne in the background. It seems like she may be on Dragonstone, as we suspected in the teaser. That’s certainly not the Iron Throne at the very least. Also, check out the rings on her fingers. That’s a nice bit of bling to make up for not having a necklace.

Speaking of thrones, here’s Jaime and Cersei. It looks like the current holder of the Iron Throne has continued to grow out her hair, and it’s now in the awkward stages.

Team Daenerys, assemble! Dany even has a cape to make the joke complete. Look who’s in the middle in the back, though. What’s up, Varys?

That’s a different costume than what he’s wearing in the above photo. The fur trim on this one may hint that the Spider will head north … or that it’s just getting colder in Westeros, as to be expected.

Here’s a better look at Tyrion’s costume, which we’ve seen before. This may be from a similar scene to the one with him, Varys, Grey Worm, and Daenerys above, because the lacing on the clothes of the person behind him suggests he’s standing in front of Missandei.

See what we mean? Here’s a question: what does that brooch she’s wearing symbolize? We can just make out what appear to be three dragon heads.

Hi, Jon Snow. Although it isn’t quite clear where he is, the surroundings remind us of the crypts beneath Winterfell. Perhaps he’s paying his mother a visit?

Sansa, no! That look on her face is pretty menacing, though, and it looks like she has some metallic elements to her outfit as well. Look near her waist. Littlefinger, meanwhile, is all in cloth from what we can see.

Do those blurry faces in the background look familiar to anyone? Check out Arya’s layers, by the way. Those aren’t the leathers we saw her wearing in the promos.
