Caroline Forbes – The Vampire Diaries
When I first met Caroline, I couldn’t decide if I liked her. She came across as a vapid little teeny bopper with far more money than sense. She flitted around in her bright dresses and sensible cardigans, and it just didn’t rub me the right way.
Then, vampire-Caroline happened, and she became my favorite part of that show. Those bright dresses didn’t bother me anymore because there was a boss woman wearing them. And I grew to love the fact that Caroline always wanted to look nice. Never flashy or over the top, Caroline took pride in her appearance and I admired that.
You wouldn’t ever find her with her chest hanging out of a tube top wearing booty-baring shorts. She was all class and she developed a subtle demureness that showed in the way she dressed. Both Caroline and I (and probably every fashion-minded person in the world) know the value of a good jean jacket, and she really put hers to good use. It’s a versatile piece of clothing, and a real staple in Caroline’s closet.
The blue jean jacket isn’t the only thing she loved, and wore over and over either. She was a sucker for a spaghetti-strap top, and wasn’t afraid to show off her pretty shoulders with that gorgeous skin. (And when she didn’t want to show them off, she just threw that jacket right on top.)
