Doctor Who is finally back with a brand new season! Here’s all the info you need to watch the Season 10 premiere online.
The moment has finally arrived. After over a year of waiting, a new season of Doctor Who is here. Finally.
This is a big deal for a lot of reasons. Of course, Whovians everywhere are over the moon with joy that our show is back. Waiting for new episodes sucks. But it’s more than that. The Season 10 premiere marks the start of Twelfth Doctor Peter Capaldi’s final run in the TARDIS. We get to meet new companion Bill (played by Pearl Mackie) who will go on all sorts of adventures through time and space. The episode is both a new beginning, and the beginning of the end of an era. Bittersweet doesn’t even begin to cover it.
The Season 10 premiere is called “The Pilot.” And, as per usual with Doctor Who episodes, we don’t know a ton about it. (And what we do know is pretty darn vague, if the official synopsis is anything to go by.)
"Two worlds collide when the Doctor meets Bill. A chance encounter with a girl with a star in her eye leads to a terrifying chase across time and space. Bill’s mind is opened to a Universe that is bigger and more exciting than she could possibly have imagined – but who is the Doctor, and what is his secret mission with Nardole on Earth?"
We can guess that much of the episode will focus on introducing Bill and telling the story of how she meets the Doctor. The episode description implies that there might be more to Bill than meets the eye. And it also looks like the Doctor himself might have some secrets of his own.
