Girls Livestream: Season 6, Episode 9 – Watch Online
By Emily Scott
Girls is back on HBO for its sixth and final season. Here’s what you need to know to watch tonight’s episode online.
With only two episodes left, Girls is in the business of wrapping up loose ends. Last week we saw an emotional and fitting goodbye between Hannah and Adam. Jessa tried to return to her old ways, only to find that she’s changed. And Ray has finally, surprisingly, found a good match in Shoshanna’s old boss Abigail.
But there are more endings that remain to be seen. What is going to happen with Marnie’s search for her passion – or at least a career of some kind? What about Jessa’s obvious manic behavior? Where has Shosh even been all season? And, of course, what will Hannah be like as a mom?
Unfortunately, we get no answers from HBO this week. In a press release, the network provided this description of tonight’s episode, “Goodbye Tour”:
"“After an important meeting, Hannah (Lena Dunham) reaches out to friends for advice, but has trouble reaching Marnie (Allison Williams).”"
Episode 57 (season 6, episode 5), debut 3/12/17: Lena Dunham.

Really, HBO? That’s all we’re gonna get? I understand, though. You don’t want to spoil the last two episodes of the series. Still, what does that mean? First of all, the title makes me think that the episode is definitely going to make me cry. Does ‘Goodbye Tour’ mean that all of our favorites are coming back to have one last scene with Hannah? If so, does that mean the ‘meeting’ has something to do with Hannah moving?
If this will be the last time we see some of the characters, and there is still one episode left, it has to involve Hannah leaving, right? It would be a logical conclusion to her story. When we first met Hannah, she was insisting that she couldn’t write her book anywhere but New York. But now that Hannah is somewhat successful and has a baby on the way, does she want to keep living in her Brooklyn apartment? And if she is moving, what is this meeting about? Is some wealthy company offering to pay her to research and write about some far-off location?
Also, why can’t Hannah reach Marnie? The last time we saw her, she was on her way to live with her mom after being evicted. Maybe New Jersey doesn’t have phone service any more? This is looking to be the last time we see Marnie and Hannah together – which confirms my suspicions that I will cry.
Regardless, I am excited to see the end. But I also don’t want to see the end.
