With Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD poised to return tonight, will all our questions be answered? Probably not, but we can hope!
We’ll find out almost immediately whether Simmons is actually dead or if she’s just pulling a Nick Fury. I’m excited to see why Fitz is super rich and fancy (potentially the Dr. Radcliffe of this reality?). And how does Coulson fare as a teacher? Probably pretty well, as he’s a great dad to the SHIELD team anyway.

You know what they say about Hydra: cut off one head, two more grow back. Apparently, Hydra thrives in the Framework and our SHIELD friends have fallen prey to it. Heck, it looks like May’s in the upper rankings of its forces.
Regardless, Agents of SHIELD has the chance to have a ton of fun with our characters. Who knows what life would have been like if Hydra had won? We’ll get to see now! The question remains: Will it be any better than their actual reality?
Sometimes the fantasy is better when it remains just that: a fantasy. It’s easy to guess Daisy and Simmons will have a hard time buying into everyone’s happiness. After all, they’re on a mission from God.
