The season 2 finale of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow promises to be very exciting. In addition to watching our favorite legends face off against the Legion of Doom, we’ll also witness Laurel Lance’s resurrection once and for all. Of course, if you haven’t heard the news, Katie Cassidy will return to her position as a series regular on The CW once again. And this news is even more exciting considering how comfortable The CW is getting with crossovers across all of their DC superhero shoes.
When the legends go back to the World War I era, they’ll get their hands on the spear. Obviously, they’ll have to choose who will wield the spear and whether they should destroy it. But this decision will also lead to Laurel’s return.

"Season 2 ends with a massive timequake rocking the Legends’ ship, which forces them to break the one cardinal rule of time travel in order to fix the problem. But if they are able to destroy the spear, they will face the ultimate consequence."
Apparently, it’s going to be something like Back to the Future 2. What does that mean? Well, there will always be consequences when the “present” version of yourself accidentally bumps into the “past” version of yourself. Since its Legends of Tomorrow, we can assume hilarity will ensue too.
