The Flash Season 3 Episode 18 “Abra Kadabra”: Watch Online

The Flash returns tonight with a villain that might have vital information about Savitar. Here’s some vital information about how to watch this episode.

Last week, The Flash took a welcome break from trying to change the future, as Barry joined Kara Danvers in a musical fantasy world. Everything about “Duet” was delightful, from the song and dance routines to the 1920s costumes. Then, Barry proposed to Iris while crooning “Runnin’ Home to You”, and we cried. Fine, Barry, we forgive you for being a jerk in “Into the Speed Force”… for now.

Sadly, every fantasy must come to an end. In this week’s episode, titled “Abra Kadabra”, the Star Labs gang has resumed its search for Savitar. Don’t expect any tap-dancing.

Here’s the official synopsis, courtesy of Screen Rant:

"The Flash (Grant Gustin) battles Abra Kadabra (guest star David Dastmalchian), a villain from Earth-19, who makes him a tempting offer – release him and Abra Kadara will reveal Savitar’s true identity. Desperate to save Iris (Candice Patton), Barry considers taking the deal but Gypsy (guest star Jessica Camacho) breaches in to capture the villain for her own reasons and during the melee, Abra Kadabra manages to escape.  Barry is furious that Gypsy interfered but Gypsy refuses to back down, forcing Cisco (Carlos Valdes) to take sides. Meanwhile, Julian (Tom Felton) is still a bit cold towards Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) but when she is severely injured in a battle with Gypsy, he rushes to her side."

It looks like we’re in for a crowded episode. Gypsy’s prominence in recent episodes is somewhat perplexing, since she only got introduced in the back half of the season. Also, frankly, she isn’t as compelling with Cisco as Lisa Snart was. That said, we’re excited to get more of Caitlin and Julian, whose relationship has been a sweet surprise, even if it seems to involve her being put out of action.

On the downside, The Flash’s habit of using villains whose antagonism to Barry stems entirely from some vague future interaction has become rather tedious. Can’t they just meet in the present for once? On the bright side, Cisco gets to quote Lord of the Rings!
