Is There A New Episode Of Riverdale On Tonight On The CW?

Is there a new episode of Riverdale tonight or are we going to have to wait an excruciatingly long time to see the season finale?

Sadly there isn’t a new episode of Riverdale tonight, and yes, we are going to have to wait a long three weeks to see the season finale. With only seven episodes behind us, it doesn’t seem like we’ve consumed enough gritty noir to get our fill, but nevertheless, here we are.

The eighth and final episode of the first season is titled, “Outsiders” and takes on the family feud between the Blossoms and the Coopers. According to Hermione in the below clip, “the Blossoms and the Coopers, they’ve been the Hatfields and the McCoys long before Polly was pregnant.”

It seems like the secrets surrounding Jughead and his father’s connection to the Serpentswill come to light, but nothing is as intriguing as the promise of witnessing a crack in the frozen glacier that is Alice Cooper.

As much as she’s being set up as the antagonist to Betty’s squeaky clean role as the heroine, she’s shaping up to be very interesting. This feud between her and Ms. Blossom could turn out to be one of the juiciest storylines yet.

As for who killed Jason, well, I can’t see where we’ll get any resolution before the end of the season. I love this show, but I will have to angry if they drag this murder out for too long, even if that’s how Twin Peaks did it.
