Bruno Mars’ “That’s What I Like” Music Video Has Everything You Like

Just when you think you have Bruno Mars figured out he changes the game. His latest music video for “That’s What I Like” most certainly does that.

Bruno Mars has promoted his new single “That’s What I Like” on every award show imaginable. It’s no surprise the song is currently number one on Billboard‘s Hot R&B Songs. Everyone expected the video to drop after its success. To quote Mars, you need to “forget your Instagram and your Twitter” and watch his latest incredible music video for “That’s What I Like.” Just when you thought Bruno Mars was all about making party music videos like “24K Magic” and “Uptown Funk’ he changes mid-step. And it’s glorious. Don’t take our word for it.

We already knew that Bruno Mars could sing and dance his butt off but sometimes in his music videos, you lose sight of that. Mars shines the brightest during his live performances, and that’s with this music video felt like. It was an intimate personal performance and yet still very fun and exciting. You can’t help be hypnotized by Mars’ ridiculous smooth dance moves and the animation going on around him. In an effort not to outshine the animation, Bruno goes for a more basic black and white color look for this video. And it just works. Just watching him sing and dance, you can’t help but think that this guy is the entire package. With his world tour starting in a few months, you can safely assume his performances are going to have the same charm and enjoyment as this video.
