Daisy Ridley and JJ Abrams Reunite in Josh Gad’s Star-Filled Last Jedi Video

As the unofficial spokesperson for all Star Wars fans, Josh Gad completes his video series by bringing in all the big guns for final Last Jedi video.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi opens in theaters on Dec. 15 later this year, which means everyone wanted to see this movie six weeks ago. While the spoilers aren’t going to fall out of the sky like rain, there are diligent members of the Force who will find humorous ways to keep Star Wars fans at bay. If only slightly.

One such member is Beauty and the Beast star Josh Gad, who has done his part when it comes to sussing out information. Unlike the rest of us who can only speculate from a distance, Gad has the ear of the franchise’s star, Daisy Ridley. So while on the set of Murder on the Orient Express, Gad continuously asks her (in a mostly scripted series of videos) about secrets of The Last Jedi.

But to Ridley’s credit, she remains tight lipped, minus the occasional smirk here and there. Of course, the secrets surrounding the next Star Wars film are what makes the anticipation so great. But it goes without saying that if you can get Judi Dench to ask about midichlorians, do it.

Obviously, not a lot of people can top Dench’s cameo, so Gad went in the opposite direction. If not a lot of people can top her, just get a lot of people. Enter Leslie Odom Jr., Colin Trevorrow, Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Penelope Cruz, Lucy Boynton, Tom Bateman, Derek Connolly, and J.J. Abrams.

Watch the star-studded video below:

Now, some of the people are Orient Express co-stars and some of them aren’t. But we all know J.J. Abrams directed The Force Awakens, and unfortunately, missed the opportunity to give Mark Hamill speaking lines. Meanwhile, Colin Trevorrow will be directing Episode IX.

And then, there’s a wild Chris Pratt talking about the Avengers and whatnot. Big deal. (Also, BDH, I get your joke, but Rey doesn’t wear heels.)
