Victoria Season 1, Episode 6 Live Stream: Watch Online

The penultimate episode of Victoria’s first season airs tonight, and it promises to cover some more major events in the young queen’s life.

It doesn’t seem like all that long ago that Victoria kicked off, introducing us to Jenna Coleman’s take on the young queen, Rufus Sewell’s Lord Melbourne, and, after a few episodes of awkwardness and implied romantic feeling between those two, Tom Hughes’ Prince Albert, the acceptable and historical love interest.

Of course, not all is absolutely perfect between Victoria and Albert, but he’s making some strides of his own towards getting a proper title. This week, though, it seems like he’ll add “parent” to his list of titles, as will Victoria.

That’s according to this week’s synopsis for “The Engine of Change,” which mentions the possibility of a regent being chosen because Her Majesty is indeed pregnant. After all, Albert isn’t king consort or anything of the like, so he couldn’t take over.

Check out the preview below, posted by Masterpiece to YouTube:

Ah, things still aren’t totally smooth between our married couple. Is that much of a surprise, though? Not even Lord Melbourne always managed to keep out of the range of the queen’s temper, and although Albert seems better at it, better does not mean much when it comes to Victoria.

Also, we get to see Miss Skerrett and Mr. Francatelli for all of two seconds. Apparently, he will attempt to coax some more secrets out of her via applications of sweet things. (That sugar N clearly earned him some points, but he looks to be stepping it up this week.) Even Masterpiece knows we’re mostly here for the drama taking place upstairs rather than downstairs.
