Game of Thrones: Where in the World is Kit Harington, Continued

The seventh season of Game of Thrones rushes towards the end of filming, and so it’s time for another round of Where in the World is Kit Harington?

Note: Although this may sound like it will spoil something or other about the upcoming season of Game of Thrones, we here don’t consider it a full-blown spoiler so much as further confirmation of facts.

Game of Thrones won’t return until this summer, and it appears that production has taken full advantage of that fact. Earlier this month, Emilia Clarke informed us that she’d effectively finished filming her part as Daenerys Targaryen.

Now, with a little help from our sister site, Winter is Coming, we can conclude that another Targaryen actor has finished his parts.

If all of those hashtags didn’t tip you off, Jon Snow has made his way across the not-so-narrow sea and surfaced in Brooklyn at Belle Shoals. Naturally, the restaurant took full advantage of that and announced his presence to the world.

A Silly Idea Follows

Naturally, this gives us a few ideas about what sort of things Jon Snow would enjoy drinking. It strikes us that provisions in the Night’s Watch probably weren’t what he’d been accustomed to at Winterfell.

Would he favor a stout? It seems like a solid choice, with the best stouts having dark complexities and a multitude of flavors. After all, he’s a Targaryen and a Stark, so complexity suits him these days, doesn’t it? At the same time, it’s a relatively straightforward drink. We really can’t see him drinking wine from the Arbor or somewhere else — that’s the purview of Tyrion Lannister, who drinks and knows things either by drinking them or by thinking while he drinks them.

But at the same time, we can see him having to sup on wine for meetings with someone like Daenerys or even Sansa.

When he has his choice, though, he seems like a man who likes a good stout or two. (And no, we’re not just saying it because of the existence of the Take the Black Stout.)
