Yoga

For those a little more flexible and a little more zen, Yoga may be more your speed than, say, boxing or jiu-jitsu. Or, maybe you’re one of those god-like creatures who somehow are great at both – which, please, teach me your ways. Either way, yoga has long been an excellent stress reliever, and both mentally and physically beneficial. Find a yoga studio close to home, find a class your speed – whether it’s a beginner class, vinyasa flow or the like – and work this into your routine.

Don’t have the money to spend on a studio, or don’t want to be in a group setting? There are plenty of YouTube channels for you to practice in the privacy of your own home, as well as DVDs (some with equipment packages) available on Amazon. Whether you become a spiritual yogi or just an occasional stretch enthusiast, it’s a worthwhile activity. Find your center. Bring yourself back to a place of zen, or at least as close as you can get – and work on mindfulness practices while in downward facing dog to get Trump far, far from your mind.

Namaste, warriors.
