Cardio

While walking is perfectly great on its own, some people are in need of a little something more to get their blood pumping – myself included. For those of us less mellow, former (and current) athletes and those who might just be a little more aggressive, maybe a harder cardio plan is for you.

Some of us find boxing to be the best therapy we’ve ever had. Swimming is another one of the best workouts for body and mind, if you ask me. If you’re looking for a party and a workout, maybe SoulCycle or Zumba are more your style.

Not sure where to start, or love too many classes but don’t have the budget for all of them? Some cities offer programs like ClassPass, which let you try a whole handful of different fitness classes in your area for one monthly price (various packages are offered).

Whatever sweat pumping workout you love, find time to fit into your schedule at least once a week. Picture Steve Bannon’s face on the punching bag – I promise you’ll feel better after an hour.
