After a long hiatus, Scandal finally returns to ABC for its Season 6 premiere. Here are all the details you need to watch “Survival of the Fittest” online.

Instead of returning for Season 6 last fall, we were forced to wait until the end of January to discover who won the election. Well, we almost found out last week, but ABC opted to push the premieres back another week for a 20/20 special. Yeah, don’t ask. In order to assuage our frustrations, they did try to release a Gladiators mini-series directed by our very own Darby Stanchfield (who plays Abby). But at two minutes a pop, it did very little to make anyone feel better. At least, it didn’t help me. Though, good job, Darby — as it was her first time directing.

To refresh your memory, Mellie Grant (Bellamy Young) and Jake Ballard (Scott Foley) were running against Frankie Vargas (Blankety-Blank) and Cyrus Beene (Jeff Perry). Tonight, we’ll find out who won!

Now, let’s check out the synopsis for the Season 6 premiere, “Survival of the Fittest”:

"In the sixth-season opener, the election results come in for the presidential race between Mellie and Francisco, and the outcome proves to be surprising."

The “surprising” outcome could literally go either way. (Literally.) Frankie is the underdog, so his win would be surprising. But Mellie is a woman, so that would be equally surprising. Because this is the kind of world we live in now. However, the most interesting outcome would likely be a tie. Obviously, if there’s a tie, the choice would fall to the current House of Representatives. Each state delegate would get a vote, which means Mellie would need 26 to win.

Unfortunately, we’re not going to know until the episode airs. But here all the details you need to catch the Scandal live stream:
