Agents of SHIELD powers through its fourth season as it gets closer to revealing May is an LMD. Here’s how you can watch the new episode “Wake Up” online.

As I like to continue to say, Agents of SHIELD and its killer robots are going to stop at nothing to torture us. How long until our SHIELD compatriots discover the May they’ve been dealing with for the last few episodes is nothing but subliminal programming and circuitry?

The title of this week’s episode (“Wake Up”) most definitely refers to the real Agent May, currently in captivity. But it also will touch on the other side of what’s going on–that is, the political side. Because there’s a mole somewhere within SHIELD, and Senator Nadeer seems to have them cornered.

Here’s the official synopsis:

"May races to find the truth about what happened to her, while Aida’s next move could mean the death of them all."

“Death of them all” sounds a little extreme. Again, this is the same universe that just recently dealt with Ultron. You think they would have learned by now. Wishful thinking that in the last five minutes of this episode, when it looks like Aida has everyone on the ropes, Tony Stark swoops in to disable her. It makes sense–he did learn from Ultron (sort of) and is very wary of AI tech.

But it would also blow all of Agents of SHIELD‘s budget for the year to bring in Robert Downey Jr.
