If Project Runway Season 15 taught us anything, it’s to never throw anyone under the bus. Unfortunately, last week’s team challenge episode of Project Runway Junior reminded us what happens when there’s a communication breakdown.

Instead of communicating her concerns to A’kai, Hawwaa became overwhelmed with frustration and left the room to cry. After feeling unfairly blamed, A’kai cried a little bit, too. It was pretty heartbreaking just watching two kids not be able to articulate how they’re feeling. Especially since it’s such a universal problem. Like, guys, just speak up! Please! Thankfully, Tim Gunn applauded A’kai for being a “statesman.”

And it’s probably this conversation that led Tim Gunn to use his save on A’kai this week. As we also know, Tim Gunn has little tolerance for people going home because of group challenges. Obviously, the point is “challenge”, but they are children.
